"Quilting" on wooden letters

I saw this idea on another blog somewhere, it was a scrapbooking blog and I thought it was just so cute that I couldn't resist making me a 'Quilt' one. I waited for the sales at Hobby Lobby and bought the letters. Primed them white and lightly sanded them. I punched out the squares so they would all be uniform. It is really cute. Now to put it up on my wall in my sewing room.

Twisted Bargello

Last weekend I was up in Lapeer, MI at a Deaf Quilters Retreat. I worked myself to the bone to get the Twisted Bargello done. I was soooo happy to finish with it at 1am on Saturday night. I purchased the border(s) fabric on Tuesday and will put them on soon. First have to finish up a few other things first that has a time deadline. Hope everyone has a wonderiffic day!
